I also used Bluestacks on Azur Lane for similar, and it worked quite well with Parsec. There's a lot of little things it can be used for.
I can also think of doing the same for myself, if I need to play Genshin while away from my PC, but my phone is too weak or if I don't want it to disconnect when turning my phone off, and want it to keep running until I turn it back on. In the case of Genshin Impact on an emulator, right away I can already think of using parsec to allow friends who don't have a PC and have too weak of a phone, to play directly from their phone emulating touch controls over my PC. I'm a MacGyver type myself, so I sympathize with people being questioned on these kinds of things, most of the time there's a clear reason why I need the overcomplicated method, but people don't understand until I finish and they see I've done something with it that they didn't think was possible or just didn't think of as a potential use.
Usually no matter how overcomplicated something seems, and how simplistic of an alternative there is for it, there's almost always a benefit from the overcomplicated method. I see this a lot, practically on every Genshin related BlueStacks post I see, but there are still few instances to which emulating it could be preferred.
